Can people see if you replay their story?

Snapchat only tells you how many people on your friend list have watched your Story at least once, which we know isn’t good or satisfying. You can also see the names of people who viewed your Story and see who didn’t.

- Tap on your Story to expand it to full screen.
- Swipe up to view the names of people who viewed your Story.
You can also block certain Snapchat friends from seeing your Story or create a private Story with a limited number of friends.
How to restrict the number of viewers on Snapchat

Follow these simple steps to make your friends list more private and customize your Story settings.
- Tap the profile or your bitmoji icon at the top left of your home screen.
- Choose the “Settings” icon in the upper right corner of your screen.
- Look for the “Who can” section in the settings.
- Tap on “View my Story” and choose your preferred option from Everyone, Friends and Custom.
- Tap on “Custom” and hide your Story from other people by tapping on their name.
Since you know how to hide your Story, you can publish it freely without fear of being judged by colleagues, jealous friends or mutual friends with an ex.
How to check if someone has screenshotted your Story?
Transparency is the first rule of Snapchat. Snapchat instantly notifies you if a friend has screenshotted the snap you sent them. However, there is no notification for the story.
It’s easy to tell if someone has screenshotted your Story by following the instructions (given above) to view your viewers. Snapchat also provides privacy guidelines and details.
When viewing your viewers list, the person who screenshotted your story is highlighted in green and an overlaid cross (the Snapchat screenshot icon) appears at the far end right of his name.
Once you know who took a screenshot, you can talk to them if it makes you feel uncomfortable or simply remove them from your friends list. Otherwise, let it be if you don’t mind.
