Step 1: Open Your Instagram Profile
To unfollow everyone on Instagram at once, start by opening the Instagram app. Then, tap on the profile icon to go to your Instagram profile.
Step 2: Check Your Following List
On your profile, you can see the number of people you are following. If this number is large, unfollowing everyone one by one can take a lot of time. So, what can we do? Let’s seek help from Instagram itself!
Step 3: Access the Settings
Next, tap on the hamburger icon, which is the button with three lines. A menu with several options will pop up. From these options, select ‘Settings’.
Step 4: Use the Help Center
In the ‘Settings’ section, tap on ‘Help’. This will take you to a page with several sections. From these sections, select ‘Report a problem’.
Step 5: Report Your Problem
Sometimes, a pop-up might appear. If it does, tap on ‘Report problem without shaking’. You will be taken to a text box where you can send Instagram a message or feedback.
Step 6: Send a Message to Instagram
In the text box, type a message asking Instagram to help you unfollow everyone you are following. Explain that your following list is too large and you cannot do it on your own. You can write something like this: “I need help to unfollow everyone I am following on Instagram. The list is too large and I cannot do it on my own. Please assist me with this.”
Step 7: Attach a Screenshot (Optional)
You can also attach a screenshot of your following list to provide more context.
Step 8: Send Your Feedback
After typing your message and attaching a screenshot (if you want), tap on ‘Next’ and send your feedback to Instagram. Please give Instagram some time to respond. They will get back to you with a solution to your problem.
And that’s it! While Instagram currently doesn’t have a direct feature to unfollow everyone at once, you can use these steps to request assistance from Instagram. Remember, managing your following list can help you have a better Instagram experience. Happy Instagramming!
